我感觉Victorian Age时期的文学走向偏向哲学和美学的研究
Thomas Carlyle and German Idealism, Clothes philosophy
到後来的Dante Gabriel Rossetti and the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood Poets
以及 Walter Pater and the Aestheticism
这些文学理论都是很抽象难懂的
这个时期也有些作品是可以从女性主义的观点来分析的
例如John Stuart Mill: "On Liberty" and "The Subjection of Women;"
Robert Browning: "Porphyria's Lover" and "My Last Duchess;"
