标题[语文] SC代名词问题 PP2 #36

想请问各位
谈到代名词时
老莫曾说优先指代原题主词
PP详解总是说指代最近的那个名词
但有时候原题主词可能不是最接近代名词的那个名词
这就变成要去钻研句意才能下得了手
但到底是老莫为准 还是PP详解的说法为准呢
以下有个例题PP2 #36
A group of paleotologists recently announced that a site in Utah
has yield fossils of some of the biggest armored dinosaurs ever found,
and that they were at least 25 million years older than any similar dinosaur
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
type previously found in North America.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
(B)and they are at least 25 million years old than those of any similar
dinosaur type that previously was
PP详解说(B)的they指代不明确 但若我把they视为最接近的名词--dinosaurs
这样的解释说不通吗??
正解:
(D)fossils that are at least 25 million years older than those of any
similar dinosaur type previouly
我觉得原题接到(D)这段好突兀喔
而且found不是该用被动语态吗??
