Over the last five years, government revenues from sales taxes have grown : no faster in the towns with restaurant smoking restrictions than in the towns : that have no such restrictions. : 答案D : 想请问高手，题目是问弱化政府的政策吗? : undermines the defense of the government's plan? : 但D我的解读是支持政府 : 因为只有说很多禁烟的地方餐厅经营的方式把吸菸区独立出来 : 没有说到跟营收有相关阿，如果可以延伸说：就算有禁菸罚则， : 餐厅照样可以经营不影响营收哩， 这边的延伸有点问题，政府说的禁菸是全面禁菸，但他提出的例子却是部分禁菸而已 所以，例子里面提到的增加营收，并没有办法证明政府说营收会增加，我认为这两者的 关系根本就是irrelevant。 : 这样解释：有禁菸不会导致收入变少←变支持政府， : 就不对啦，请求协助 : 卡在这题很久了@@ : 谢谢 我的理解 这题之前也卡了很久... 题意: V 政府要全面对餐厅执行禁菸的政策 反对的人说:执行这个政策会让所有餐厅营收下降 政府说: 执行这项政策会让餐厅营收下降是不切实际的(ill-founded)，意思就是 政府认为执行这项政策并不会影响餐厅的营收。 政府提出一个例子，五年前就有勇者餐厅先执行这项政策，而且缴给政府的税 居然增加的居然比其他地方还要多(34% to 26% )，而缴的税与营收成正比，因此 执行这项政策并不会造成反对人所说的结果，反而会增加餐厅的营收。 问: undermine政府的狡辩 D 先执行禁烟政策的餐厅，其实是把非吸菸区独立出来，就是还有可以吸菸的区域 因此直接推翻了政府狡辩的例子，因为之前执行这项政策的餐厅，其实还是有吸菸区的 至於为什麽缴的税会增加的比较多，我个人认为是因为多了非吸菸区，可以吸引更 多的消费者来消费，造成营收增加，当然这部分是我的推论。 其实只要找到能够推翻政府提出的例子，就可以选D了。 参考一下吧 --
