版上大大好，作道题目看不太懂题目叙述，不知到是否有大大愿意协助，谢谢
1. The larger of two numbers exceeds three times the smaller number by 2. The
sum of twice the larger and 4 times the smaller is 73. if a is the smaller
number, which equation below determines the correct value of x?
(A) 4(3a+2)+2a=73
(B) 4(3a+2)+2a=73
(C) (6a+2)+4a=73
(D) 2(3a+2)+4a=73
(E) 2(3a-2)+4a=73
