The rest of his weary team, sitting slouched around the conference table, green tea held listlessly in hand, just look tired.They should be working on "ghost's" second season-word is they're getting each episode to the network only days before it airs. They simply don't have time for interviews. Kamiyama has no one to blame but himself. It's his direction of "Stand Alone Complex" that has made it a huge success in Japan, necessitating a second 26 episode season-which proves the show isn't just riding on the laurels of its manga and movie predecessors. While is its own incarnation of the "Ghost" mythos, Kamiyama admits he and his team took "SAC" in a bold new direction-the original one. "I wasn't intending to make a totally different kind of project or concept," says Kamiyama, his hands crossed in front of his face like "Evangelion's" Gendo Ikari.
