Spanish football journalist Graham Hunter told BBC Radio 5 Live: "Spurs are on the verge of getting their man." According to reports in Spain, Ramos has agreed a four-year deal and is expected to join Spurs on Monday. Without mentioning Tottenham by name, the 53-year-old Ramos told his personal website: "For my family and career it is impossible not to leave for London."
