Keane and Berbatov have built up a sound understanding since the Bulgaria international signed from Bayer Leverkusen in May 2006. And amid speculation that Berbatov might be set for a move away from White Hart Lane, Keane has voiced delight at the strike partnership he has formed with the 26-year-old. "You don't want your best players going, certainly not someone like Berbatov, because we want to progress and do better," he told the News of the World. "Dimitar is under contract until something changes - in that the club decide to get rid of him or he wants to go. "But as far as I'm concerned he is here for a few years and that's the way it is. Berbatov is a wonderful player. He has everything to be the very best; it's just up to him. "When you play with such a good striker such as Dimitar it makes your own job so much easier. "He understands what I'm going to do and I understand him.
