A daily newspaper in Hanoi, “Hanoi Muh-ee (New Hanoi)” reported on the 11th on it’s internet edition, using a legal newspaper from Ho Chi-Min (Saigon) as its source, that SHK purchased 50 units of an illicit drug from a Hong Kong nightclub for weight loss purposes. According to this newspaper, singer Rain and actor Song Il-Kook were there with her at the time that she was obtaining the drugs. Also, the newspaper claimed that when Song Il-Kook was cross-examined about the incident, he acknowledged that while he had gone to a night club with SHK he did not know anything about the drug charges. Then Hanoi Muh-ee added that SHK denied purchasing any illicit drugs to the very end. Following this, manager Park Hyun-Jung from SHK’s management agency Sidus HQ said, “SHK has never been in Hong Kong and the fact that this absurd and baseless report is being circulated is really regrettable,” adding that after careful investigation they will start dealing with this.
