This bill tries to create "equalness" but not "fairness". Because the majority of the applications are from India and China, if this bill is passed, it works advantage to these two countries only. And it's not fair to the rest of world. If you believe in diversity, if you believe in true fairness, please opposite this bill. Following my last email, I'd like to address that if the US open the door for all countries without limitations, the US labor market will get a huge hit. The immigrants in IT will take a much lower salary and impact American Citizens employment opportunities. The immigration applications will be full of people that are not necessarily American educated, and they'll submit applications in their own countries asap to get in the waiting queue. We, rest of the world category, are minority in the green card applications. India and China are the majority. This is majority trying to get the law changed in favor to them, but it's unfair to us minority. This is not the fairness spirit of the US. Also working at the investment banking industry and small companies, I have heard a lot of frauds from India. The homeland security department once to ambush my company to see if my Indian co-worker's gcard application is valid. I am sure the government would have these stats, but it may not be available to the public.
