标题[问题] 英国寄台湾,追踪码只追到英国吗?

在ebay向英国卖家买东西，与卖方讨论邮寄问题，
如果寄有追踪码的会增加6英镑邮资（原本是11英镑)
但卖方提醒我，追踪码只追到英国国内，虽然到台湾还是要签名，
if you want the item tracked it will be an additional 6gbp but this will
only be tracked in the UK although it will require a signature upon arrival
in Taiwan.
想请问板友 这是正常的吗(到台湾追踪码无效？）
还是有哪种寄件方式比较有保障？
因为第一次向外国购物，
所以对邮寄都不是很清楚
