使用不当标题被ESPN解雇的记者，Anthony他说他最近和林书豪在曼哈顿的一家餐馆见面，
他们聊了一个小时，书豪的家人在一个月前找他，书豪也在百忙之中抽空与他见面。
Anthony当初在道歉之後被开除，当时书豪就接受道歉，还说"你必须要学会原谅"。
他们主要聊了基督教和书豪膝盖的伤势，而那次的事情聊了不超过三分钟，他说书豪是一个
很谦虚的人，书豪也接受他的道歉。
Knicks star Jeremy Lin had lunch on Tuesday with the former ESPN employee who
was fired last month for writing a headline about Lin that included a
racially insensitive word.
Lin met with Anthony Federico, a 28-year-old Connecticut man, during a Knicks
off-day. According to Federico, the two discussed their shared Christian
faith and Lin's knee injury. Federico wrote an offensive headline that
appeared on ESPN's mobile site for 35 minutes in the early-morning hours of
Feb. 19.
"It went incredible," Federico said. "I'm just so excited we had a chance to
meet. We talked for an hour. I'm just so thankful."
A Knicks spokesman said on Wednesday that Lin did not wish to publicly
discuss the meeting. Calls to Lin's agent were not returned.
Federico apologized after he was fired and called the headline "an honest
mistake." At the time, Lin said he accepted the apology and added, "You have
to learn to forgive."
Apparently, he meant it.
A member of Lin's family reached out to Federico via e-mail more than a month
ago, according to Federico. After several attempts to get Lin and Federico to
meet were scuttled because of the Knicks point guard's busy schedule, the
meeting finally took place at a Manhattan restaurant and left Federico
thankful for Lin's graciousness.
"The fact that he reached out to me," Federico said. "The fact that he took
the time to meet with me in his insanely busy schedule . . . He's just a
wonderful, humble person. He didn't have to do that, especially after
everything had kind of died down for the most part.
"We talked more about matters of faith [and] reconciliation. We talked about
our shared Christian values and what we're both trying do with this situation
. . . We didn't talk about the headline for more than three minutes."
