I would've liked Cannavaro to have apologised afterwards, but it never happened.” Cannavaro was not even booked for the crunching tackle on Mudingayi just eight minutes into Saturday's 1-1 draw, but the midfielder's season is over after undergoing surgery for a fractured tibia. Ousmane Dabo has already blasted the defender's actions and now Coach Rossi has added to the tension after that encounter. “I think that, considering how the game went, a 1-1 result was the correct one, but it was a shame for my players to concede such a late equaliser. Juve are a great squad, but I would've liked to have seen the 90 minutes with 11 men against 11.” Dabo was sent off for dissent when his goal, which would've made the scoreline 2-0, was disallowed for offside. Lazio boss Rossi is keeping his players on their toes when they meet already-relegated Lecce on Sunday afternoon, as the race for a UEFA Cup spot isn't over yet. “No result is already in our pockets and this is the most important match of the season. Just ask Roma about 1986,” he smiled.
