As with their elders, Storgato's squad faced Fiorentina in the final, winning on penalties after a 1-1 draw in normal time. At the end of the first half fiorentina held the advantage, leading 1-0 through Lepri's 26th minute goal. Whilst the viola goalkeeper was able to prevent Juve from equalising just before half-time, he could do nothing stop Pasquato's effort from finding the back of the net eleven minutes after the restart. As the second half wore on Juventus tried their luck through Maritato, Pasquato and Essabr, whilst Lattanzio went close for the opposition, but neither team was able to make the breakthrough. With tiredness beginning to show extra-time passed without much excitement leading the sides to the penalty spot. With the score poised at four-all it Neri saved the decisive effort to hand Juventus the national championship.
