Calderon pipped Juan Palacios by just 246 votes, but votes sent through the post were not included after a judge suspended them on Friday amidst fears over their legitimacy. It is unclear at this stage whether they would now be taken into consideration. Juventus do have a number of options already should Capello leave the Stadio Delle Alpi in the shape of Didier Deschamps, Alberto Zaccheroni and Roberto Donadoni.
