Argentina boss Alfio Basile has urged West Ham flop Javier Mascherano
to join Juventus in the January transfer window.
阿根廷主教练 Alfio Basile力劝 West Ham中场 Mascherano在一月转会 JUVE。
The former Corinthians midfielder is being linked with a move to Italy
despite having just signed a four-year contract with the London club,
along with his fellow countryman Carlos Tevez.
The Hammers have failed to win a game since the arrival of the duo
and Jose Pekerman's successor hopes that Mascherano can join
the Old Lady at the end of the year.
Mascherano、Tevez转会到 West Ham之後该队一场比赛也没赢过，
Pekerman得继任者 Basile希望 Mascherano能在今年底加盟 JUVE。
“I think both Mascherano and Tevez are half-hearted
and I'm really worried. They play as if they're unenthusiastic,”
said Basile to the Argentine website TyC Sports.
他在阿根廷网站《TyC Sports》说：「我认为 Mascherano、Tevez两人都不够认真，
我真的很担心，他们踢球一点热情也没有。」
“I hope for God's sake that Mascherano can go to Juventus
as it has been said, even if he has to play
in the Second Division in Italy,” added the Coach.
「我希望看在老天的份上 Mascherano能如传闻所说的去到 JUVE，
就算是这样等於要在义大利打次级联赛。」

Mascherano, who impressed for his national side during all of
their 2006 World Cup games, was paired with a move to the Bianconeri
during the summer and Coach Didier Deschamps recently confirmed
that the club hopes to bring in fresh players in 2007.
“We tried to sign a midfielder who is now playing in England
and we still hope he will arrive in January,” stated the Frenchman
referring to Mascherano, who would come with the added bonus of
an Italian passport.
However, his proposed transfer to Turin may be complicated
by the rumours that the Iranian MSI company who own him are
also interested in buying West Ham.
