The game finsished 3-2, with goals from Lanzafame and Giovinco in the last quarter of an hour not enough to salvage the result.The Bianconeri weren't helped by the sending-off of Di Berardino early in the second half and praise must go to Chiarenza's boys for the belief and determination they showed right up until the final whistle. It was an heroic fight back, but coming back from three goals down was just a bridge too far for this hugely talented side. The Primavera might be going home after the last sixteen, but they can hold their heads high knowing they played very well throughout the tournament. Proud of the team's efforts, coach Vincenzo Chiarenza looked ahead to the rest of the year. “We've had a good tournament, getting better as we've progressed. This leaves me optimistic for the rest of the season and there are still the league and the cup to be won”.
