But he may seek Boeheim out when the Knicks are in Syracuse for a preseason game Tuesday to talk to him about it. “It’s hard for me to converse about it," Anthony said after practice Friday. “I don’t know what he was saying. If I read it, I can get the tone of what he was trying to say because I know him. I know how he’d say a lot of things he said. Once I get the information and facts and talk to [Boeheim], I’ll get a better understanding about what’s going on." In the new book, “Bleeding Orange,” Boeheim for some reason revealed Anthony ’s grades. According to Boeheim, Anthony received four Cs and one D in the first semester of his freshman year at Syracuse. “Were they accurate?” he said to reporters, with a grin. “I don’t know either, I haven’t seen my grades in 12, 13 years.” Syracuse fans may be interested to know Anthony said he probably would have returned to school if the Orange hadn’t won the national title in 2003. “I did not know until after we won the championship (that he was entering the NBA draft),” Anthony said. “And even up until that point, I still went in there and had a conversation with Boeheim about trying to figure out how to come back to school.” Anthony was selected third overall in the 2003 draft, behind LeBron James and Darko Milicic.
