Chado Tea Room Fairfax District Afternoon tea is served all day at this location and Chado’s Pasadena branch. Reservations are required for the four seatings, which are $18 per person. 2. Paddington's Tea Room Beverly Hills This family-owned tea shop bordering Beverly Hills serves three and five course tea as well as children’s and traditional Devonshire tea. 3. Millennium Biltmore Hotel Downtown L.A. With 683 guest rooms and suites, this downtown L.A. hotel has been housing dignitaries and all manner of visitors for over 80 years. 4. Rose Garden Tea Room San Marino Surrounded by Huntington’s famed rose garden, the tea room is a scenic place to spend your afternoon. Finger sandwiches, cheese, fruit and salads are served buffet-style and there is no stuffy dress code. You can also purchase a Tea & Tour package which includes admission to the museum, a full English tea and a docent-lead tour for $55. 5. Jin Patisserie Venice Known for its pristinely designed desserts, Jin offers afternoon tea for $19. That includes egg sandwiches, homemade scones, butter cake, mini pastries and a pot of tea. 6. Tudor House Tearoom and Market Santa Monica Tudor House serves afternoon tea up in three versions—Victorian, Afternoon, and Cream—alongside one of the robust black cuppas which fueled an empire. Its $23.95 Mother’s Day special includes salad, salmon canapés, sandwiches, scones and dessert along with your choice of tea, peach champagne and coffee. 8. Scarlet Tea Room Pasadena The five course tea at this elegant tea room includes sorbet, a choice of four finger sandwiches, mini desserts and strawberry romanoff for $29. 9. Rose Tree Cottage Pasadena Covered in ivy and roses, the quaint cottage serves traditional English style afternoon tea on fine Royal Doulton bone china. Reservations a week in advance are highly recommended. 10. The Lobby Lounge at the Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey Marina del Rey Afternoon tea is available Thursday to Saturday. Lady Effie's Tea Parlor Los Angeles County Named after owner Vonnie Gipson’s late aunt Effie Mae Miles, the tea parlor was Miles’ former home, a West Adams gem that was built in 1907. 12.
