摩托车拿到permit後, 只有下列限制
1. 不能带人
2. 不能上freeway
3. 只能在白天骑
基於以上原则, 只要车子是你的, 有保险, 是可以自己骑去考试
如果是朋友的车, 最好朋友要在场
但是DMV对於摩托车比较没那麽严
话说回来, 2009 DMV Motorcycle Handbook编的比去年好
也多了介绍DMV考照的内容 (Pg.6)
另外就是对於车类分类的解释
DMV认为
Motor-Driven Cycles 是
1. 引擎cc数小於149
所以我们一般说的"scooter"其实应该是motor-driven cycles
另外DMV也有说Motorized Scooter是
1. any two-wheeled device with
--a. a motor, a handlebar, and a floorboard
--b. the ability to be powered by human propulsion
感觉起来Motorized scooter是一个比较generalized的term
另外考照不能用(may not)scooter去考
另外M1/M2都要考笔试和路试, M1可以骑所以分类在M2底下的车, 但是M2不能骑M1
(所以当然是直上M1啊 @@)
以前的界线(包括上freeway)是以250cc做分隔, 现在好像降到149了
以上以2009 DMV Motorcycle Handbook内容为准, 想考照请先读完整本
上路後对自己, 对其他用路人都好
