Club doctors have confirmed that Carles Puyol suffered a hairline
fracture in his left ankle in the international match between Spain
and Bosnia on Wednesday.
Barca captain Carles Puyol picked up the injury in the seventh minute
of the match against Bosnia as a result of an accidental clash with
Misimovic. The affected area was scanned on Thursday morning and Club
doctors confirmed that the Catalan defender has a hairline fracture in
his left ankle.
The player has already started orthopaedic treatment consisting of a
plaster shoe to protect the ankle and speed recovery.
