标题[问题] 请问description环境下行距问题

刚使用texmaker，还是新手，已看过也找过使用手册，但还是需要求救大家..
1.想请问：在description环境下，code如下：
\begin{description}
\item[1] F.O.Cs are the same as those for U-max problem.
\begin{eqnarray}
...
\end{eqnarray}
\item[2] Lagrange multiplier
\begin{eqnarray}
\[
\frac{\partial e}{\partial u} = \lambda^{ast}
\]
\end{eqnarray}
\end{description}
其中第一项item的数学式结束之後，与第二项item line 之间的行距非常大，
已使用过\itemsep去修正，但是一点结果也没有。
想请问应如何修正？
2.另第一个item与第二项item无法对齐，是否有特殊需要使用的package才能使其对齐?
