标题[问题] 请问一下次方(power)

我用的环境是MiKTeX 2.9 + WinEdt
想请教一下我在打表格的时候里面需要用到次方
ex：
├──┼─────┤
│Size│ 0.8 (mm2)│ (mm"2"是次方的部分)
├──┼─────┤
我写的程式如下：
...
\hline
Size & 0.8(\cd mm${}^2$) \\
\hline
...
但是在编译的时候出现这样的错误讯息(我编译是点"LaTeX"编译)：
! undefined control sequence.
1.648 Size & 0.8 <\cd
mm${}^2$> \\
?
想请问一下我是缺了那些东西，谢谢!!
