It contains minimal codes that will show your problem clearly without any guessing and others, who want to help out, can re-generate the same problem without re-typing it again on helpers' PC. MWE shows the questioner is serious about his/her problems and reveals that he/she did some efforts trying to solve the problem at hand but failed. A question with MWE will attract attentions too since it makes both questioner/helper easier to communicate, focusing on the underlying subject.
