Ryan Giggs could face six weeks out after picking up a hamstring injury in
the 0-0 draw with Tottenham.
"It is not a short-term thing," said United manager Alex Ferguson. "It's a
hamstring injury, and losing him so early on in the game killed us."
Giggs, 31, has been in devastating form and his loss will be another blow to
United's title hopes.
The injury is likely to rule him out of John Toshack's first game in charge
of Wales, against Hungary on 9 February.
