Given a quadrilateral of any irregular form.
Draw four squares, one for each side of the quadrilateral,
out from the given quadrilateral.
Find the center points of each square.
Draw lines between the center points of opposite squares.
Show that these two lines are equal in length
and cross each other right-angled."
