Davemcten Marcus Smart presented a "Smart Cart" to members of the UCLA Medical
Center staff after practice Sunday.
The mobile cart is equipped with tablets and gaming consoles and can be moved
from room to room in a hospital to give pediatric patients a way to entertain
themselves, take their minds off of the medical challenges they may be facing
and connect with friends, family and the outside world through the devices.
When Marcus was a child, his older brother, Todd, battled leukemia and he reme
mbers the long hours his family spent in hospitals - just looking for some kin
d of diversion to not feel the weight of the situation they were in.
Here, Marcus explains the cart's amenities to Lakers assistant video coordinat
or Gerdarius "GT" Troutman.
This is the 33rd cart donation that Marcus has made to nearly 20 hospitals acr
oss the United States through his YounGameChanger Foundation.
聪明哥体恤病人家属，在家人看护照顾中
比较低迷艰困的时期，能够藉由游戏调适心情
这款游戏手推车能够轻松的在病房之间移动
