Session - George Best Tribute - Neil Banfield - Arsenal
This great dribbling/running with the ball session was conducted by Arsenal
Reserve Team coach, Neil Banfield. The session was conducted recently at
Highbury for the London Coaches Association and was done as a tribute to
George Best's great dribbling skills. This session was first described on
our Discussion Forum by Richard Webb and has now been re-posted with

Part 1 - Technical and/or Warm Up (15 mins)
第一部份:技术与/或热身(十五分钟) (见图一)
Organization(组织): 2 Players - One ball each.(十二个球员,每人一颗球)
Keep ball up - R to L foot (100 repetitions).
左右脚交替挑球(一百回)
Dribble and work ball, two touches inside of R foot, one touch outside of R
foot and accelerate away. Do same with L foot and continuously switch from R
to L.
盘控球:右脚内侧控球两下,然後右脚外侧控球一下,然後冲刺。接下来左脚也这样做,
左右脚交替。
Keep ball up R foot / L foot, R knee / L knee (100 repetitions).
挑球:右脚'左脚'右膝'左膝(一百回)
Dribble and work ball, two touches outside of R foot, one touch inside of R
foot and accelerate away. Do same with L foot and continuously switch from R
to L.
盘控球:右脚外侧控两下,然後右脚内侧控一下,然後冲刺跑开,左脚也这样做,左右交
替。
Keep ball up - R to L foot on to chest, back down to R foot (100 repetitions).
挑球:右脚'左脚'胸控,再回到右脚(一百回)
Dribble and work ball, introduce turns and accelerate away. When dribbling
the ball, players are weaving through each other.
盘控球:要求球员盘球试着加入转弯与加速。带球时,球员们彼此相互迂回。
You get the general idea. Neil had the players doing similar tasks with
rebounds off a wall and made reference to street soccer and our general
tendency for overcoaching. (Neil Banfield也会应用同样的训练,在要求球员面对墙
练习控球,并参考了街头足球与overcoaching….这我不知道怎麽翻译)
Part 2 - Technical (15 mins)
第二部份:技术(十五分钟) (见图二)
Organisation(组织):
6 players in yellow forming the outside edge of a circle - 6 players in white
inside the circle with a ball each.
(六个黄衣球员站在圈外,六个白衣球员每人一颗球在圈内)
White passes to a yellow, receives ball back and then moves through centre,
avoiding other players, looking to pass to another outer yellow player.
(白方传给黄方再传回白方,然後跑过圆中心点,别撞到其他穿白衣的,再找其他黄衣球
员传球)
Progression(进阶,请见图三):
Split group into 3 sets of four with different bibs. Reduce number of balls
to 2 or 3 depending on ability. Outer four forming edge of circle or square,
inner four marked by four passive defenders. Progress to active defenders.
Ensure you change groups around every 5 mins.
(把人分成三组,每组穿一个颜色的围兜,每组四人,把球数减少到两个或三个,视该组
球员能力。一组站在圈外或是方块外,另外两组在圈内,一为防守方,一为传控球方,与
圈外的人对传球。记得每五分钟换组。)
Key Factors(训练要求与要领):
Weight / Accuracy/ Timing of pass.(重心/准确度/传球时间拿捏)
Pass to the "strong side".(把球传到善用脚那侧)
Controlling into space / first touch.(把球控制到有空档/要求控球的第一下)
Disguise.(假动作)
Use all foot surfaces ("the player who uses the inside of the same foot loses
75% of his game").(尽量用到双脚各部份控球,通常只用一只脚内侧控球的75%都会输
掉这练习比赛)
Keep the ball moving.(尽量让球移动,不要停死)
Acceleration & power.(加速与力量)
Awareness & communication.(意识与沟通)
Let the ball "talk" (ie: ball played in front of team mate indicates you want
them to run forward). (让球自己讲话,例如当把球传到队友前面时,意思就是要他自
己往前跑)
Part 3 - SSG (Dribbling / Running with the Ball) (20 mins) (第三部分:盘球与
跑步带球,二十分钟)
Organization(组织): 请见图四
Approx 45 x 30m coned area split into thirds with cones going across width of
pitch. One Ball - 4 bibs - NO Goals. (用圆锥围起45m x 30m的区域,再分隔成三块区域,
只用一颗球,四种颜色的围兜,不摆球门)
4 attackers in first third, 4 defenders (with bibs) in middle third, 4
attackers in final third.(四个攻击者在前三分之一场,四个防守者在中间三分之一
,另外四个站在最後三分之一)
Objective(目标):
Attackers pass to each other in first third. When opportunity arises, dribble
or run with the ball through middle third into last third. Once in last
third, repeat exercise going the other way.(攻击者现在己方三分之一场互相传球
,等到机会一来,意识到空档的持球球员,用盘球或跑动带球方式,穿过中间三分之一场
球员的防守,等到球一旦带到对面的三分之一场处,再反向进攻)
Restrictions(限制):
Cannot hit long ball and miss middle third. As play starts, any 2 defenders
(only 2) can enter first third to defend. Same applies at other end. All
defenders can use middle third if necessary. If defender wins ball, pass to
coach who restarts play. Attackers free to roam anywhere once play has
started.(不能打高球或是故意跳过中间三分之一场,比赛开始时,只有两个防守者可以
进入攻方的三分之一场防守,如果守方抢到球,球交给教练重开。攻方球员可以在场地内
随意奔跑)
Possible Progressions(可能变化):
Increase or reduce number of defenders.(增加或减少守方球员)
Limit number of attackers in final third.(限制在最後三分之一场的攻方球员数)
Add goals. (摆球门)
Key Factors / Points(要求与要领):
Same as Part 2 plus:-(同第二部分,还有:)
Concentration.(注意力)
Effecting play without the ball (support / filling in, in front & behind).(有
效的无球跑动,如补前面或後面的空位)
Receiving on the half turn.(f接球时并变向)
Can I run with the ball? - if not start again, work ball around third until
opening comes.(我可以带着球跑吗?如果不行,重新来,把球在三分之一区域内传接,
等到空档的机会出现)
When it does, "Break the Lines" (Arsene Wenger saying) with a run into next
third. Believe in your own ability.(当空档机会来时,"一次冲过两条线"(温格
常这样说),永远相信你自己的能力)
Can I effect play with the ball?(我这样打球有效吗)
Timing / shape of runs.(时机/跑动路线)
Angles / distance of supporting players.(角度/无球队友支持持球者友所站的角度
与距离)
Rotation of positions.(位置的互换)
Creating numerical advantage. (在小区域内制造人数上的优势)
