Great Is Thy Faithfulness《輭的信实何其广大》 作曲者 William M. Runyan (1870~1957) 在1923年於美国的堪萨斯州作此曲， 这首歌最早节录自作者所编辑的『救恩与崇拜之歌-Song of Salvation and Service』 诗集，他在作这首曲时曾恳切祷告，祈求上帝使他能作出完全传达诗中信息的曲谱， 并将这首曲调命名为『Faithfulness』。 今晚所演出的版本是由 Nathan Carter 编曲，由女中音温暖的音色低声倾诉做为 序幕，阐述着对上帝虔诚的赞颂与感谢，女高音的加入道出衪使四季顺序替换的事蹟 ，再来则是众人一齐赞扬上帝，衪看顾每个人没有盹眠，衪自昔至今永远存在。在乐 曲中段，有一段无伴奏的旋律，缓慢的速度更加深了虔诚的意念，随着音量逐渐增强 、气势逐渐扩大，在乐曲末段像是要向世人宣告上帝的伟大一般，逐渐带至高潮。 Great is thy faithfulness, 你的信实何其广大， O God my Father! 主啊我父神！ There is no shadow of turning with thee; 你的光辉照耀恒常未变； Thou changest not, 你永世不改变， Thy compassions they fail not; 满有怜悯恩； As thou hast been thou forever wilt be. 昔在今在永在我主我神。 Summer and winter and springtime and harvest, 春夏秋冬四季，栽种与收成， Sun, moon and stars in their courses above, 日月星辰运行永无停歇， Join with all nature in manifold witness 同宇宙万物， to thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love. 为主伟大的信实、慈悲与爱做 见证。 Great is Thy faithfulness! 你的信实何其广大！ Morning by morning new mercies I see; 清晨复清晨，主爱日更新； All I have needed thy hand hath provided; 我一切所需用，你都己预备； Great is Thy faithfulness, 你的信实何广大， Lord, unto me! 显在我身！ Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, 主宽恕我罪过，赐永远平安， Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide, 您的存在给予引导与鼓励， Strength for today 做我今日的力量， And bright hope for tomorrow, 明日的盼望， Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! 无限祝福直达万民！ --
