The Dutch failed the reach the last World Cup, were beaten semi- finalists in 1998 and also lost in the last four of Euro 2000. Van der Sar told the club's official website: "I don't think we'll be one of the favourites for once and maybe that's a good thing for us. "I think the last three tournaments we've played in we've been one of the so-called "big" sides - certainly in France 98 and Euro 2000 in Holland and Belgium. "But this summer I think there are some much better teams than us, which may mean we get treated like outsiders which could really help.
