The 28- year-old was part of the midfield triumvirate, alongside Mark van Bommel and Phillip Cocu, which almost inspired PSV to a shock victory against Milan in the Champions League semi-finals before Massimo Ambrosini's late strike denied them. Double departure Van Bommel has since announced his departure to FC Barcelona, and Vogel's exit will provide another blow to Guus Hiddink's side. "Milan are a top club," Vogel said, "this is a dream for me."
