The players of the Catalan club will have a one-week pres-season training camp in Denmark, after which they will start an extensive Asian trip in China. FC Barcelona are extremely popular in Asia and when the Chinese PSV website was launched, the midfielder himself proved to be very popular as well. Much attention was paid to physical labour during the training. Fitness training-- The coaches Fred Rutten, Rene Eijkelkamp, fitness coach Luc van Agt and goalkeeping coach Joop Hiele made the players work really hard. Most players were outside on the pitch; Theo Lucius and Ibrahim Afellay, though, were in the gym to do their own exercises. Both players are recovering from injuries.
