Nigel de Jong joins Hamburger SV
Amsterdam, January 26, 2006
Ajax and Hamburger SV have reached agreement about the
immediate transfer of Nigel de Jong to the German club.
The contract with the Amsterdam-born De Jong with Ajax
ran to July 2006.
The 21-year old De Jong made his debut in Ajax 1 in the
league match against AZ (6-2 to Ajax) on 19 October 2002.
De Jong played 133 matches for the first team and scored
13 goals for Ajax.
