STRIKER ANGELOS CHARISTEAS JOINS FEYENOORD
Greek international Angelos Charisteas agreed to join Feyenoord on a
three-year deal Thursday evening. The 26-year-old forward's arrival ends
the club's quest for a replacement for Dirk Kuyt, who left for Liverpool
days before the season got underway. Charisteas became the day's second new
signing for Feyenoord, together with Danny Buys. The club also signed Dwight
Tiendalli and Philippe Leonard last week.
