话说八月时Milner差点以￡5m 转会去维拉 但球会最後说服他留在新堡 (德哥做得好!!!) 很多人都很诧异, 但Milner说不会後悔这次决定: 　　"I'm enjoying myself here. Playing in Europe is a great bonus. In football things happen off the field, but all I can do is make sure I keep playing well on it. 　　"I've just tried to concentrate on my football really. You can't control what happens with other clubs. But I like being up here and when you get a chance, like I did against Fenerbahce, you have to make sure you take it. 　　"It's a great experience to play in Europe so I'll just get on with it. It's a long time ago now what happened with Villa and it's gone now. I'm back at Newcastle and working hard so I'll just try and do as well as I can." 虽然Milner到目前的表现不是很理想 (我感觉啦, 话说去年有段时间他是英超助攻榜排第一) 谈到下场的对手米堡 (好像好好吃 XD) Milner将会遇上在Leeds时的旧队友Woodgate+Viduka Milner特别提到木门, 说他是遇过最好的後卫之一, 且是一个很好的队友 Milner加油啊, 记得多跟Nobby学习!! --
