Sir Bobby Robson Way was officially opened by the man himself in a ceremony at Newcastle’s Great Park. The former Newcastle and England manager said: “It’s a great honour and privilege. “I understand the organisers have had to get special permission for this and I’m one of the few people who have had a street named after them while they are still alive, so that just makes it even more of an honour. “I never dreamed I would ever have a street named after me. I am both flattered and overwhelmed by today. “I wish everyone well who uses the road – please make sure you always drive along it with courtesy and care.” 以Sir Bobby命名的一条道路在昨天由Sir Bobby本人亲自开启.
