Newcastle United wait on Alan Smith ankle injury news
Alan Smith faces an anxious wait to find out the extent of his ankle
injury he suffered after a challenge by Sunderland's Kieron Richardson.
The midfielder, 30, will visit a specialist in London on Wednesday.
副队长在打比战被死邻居的 XDson 踢伤脚踝，昨天跑去伦敦找专家诊断。
以找出目前伤情是否严重。
Smith was forced out of Sunday's 1-1 draw after 37 minutes, leaving the
field on crutches and with his ankle in a supportive brace.
He dislocated the same ankle and also broke his leg in February 2006,
while playing for Manchester United.
On that occasion, Smith was injured simply blocking a free-kick in an FA
Cup match against Liverpool. He was out for eight months but it took 18
months for him to fully recover.

那次受伤导致他从此遇上伤病都要经过很长时间才能复原。
包括他加盟新堡的首两赛季，就曾倦勤一年半。
Newcastle say they should know more about the extent of the current
injury later this week.
球队表示稍後时间会获得更多伤情的资讯。
Smith, who joined the club in 2007 from Manchester United, has made 13
appearances so far this season.
