也是落落长的一篇 但基於我对伦敦的爱 还是翻给大家 XD 不过爆了八卦 好看多了 也透露了一些伦敦私下的一些事 Should we call you Lauren or London? Where did the nickname come from? My name is Lauren, but I’m known as London. It came from my obsession with London street style. When I first made modeling a priority in my life, I thought, “There are a lot of creeps out there. I’ll go by London instead of Lauren!” Q:该称呼你Lauren还是London呢?伦敦这昵称怎麽来的? A:我叫罗伦 但大家叫我伦敦 这来自我对伦敦的印象 大家都知道伦敦是时尚之都 所以当我开始想当摩特 我就想要当伦敦而不是罗伦 Haha, okay. Did you deserve to be eliminated this week? I’m going to say yes, only because everything happens for a reason. Every time I’d go to panel, I would literally pray “God, if you want me to stay, then I’ll stay. If you want me to go, then I know that’s what is meant to be.” But I’m disappointed because I feel like my true potential wasn’t seen on the show. Q:哈哈!!好吧. 那你认为你应该这周被淘汰吗? A:我会说是的,大家也都知道是啥原因. 每次在评审时 我都祷告:天留我我就留,天要我走那我也知道我该走了 但我有点失望的是 我没有爆气 Do you think you had the worst picture? No, I don’t. I do not think I had the worst photograph. Q:你觉得你的照片是最烂的吗? A:我不知道,但我想我的照片应该没有最烂 Who did? Aminat’s photo was very dull. I remember her giving the same face every time and I really felt like I didn’t do that. Q:那是谁??? A:阿美姐!!!!!!! 她的照片总是比较差.她总是一号表情就想打天下 要是我 我才不会这样做 What’s the deal with Natalie? Is she really as snobby as she seems? I think she was poorly portrayed. Yeah she’s rich, yeah she’s got a bit of an attitude, but there are so many people like that. I was Natalie’s best friend in the house, so I saw the true side of her and she’s a sweetheart. She’s so loveable. Q:(赶快转移话题 XD)那塔丽呢?她总是看起来一副千金大小姐样吗? A:我想她不太会演戏. 没错她很有钱, 她也有种田侨仔的气质, 但很多人喜欢她阿. 我是她最要好的朋友, 所以我知道她的另一面, 她是个好女孩. In your audition for Top Model, you said you are a street preacher. How did you get involved with that? I grew up without knowing my earthly father. When I went to church, feeling the presence of the Heavenly Father made it that much more special for me. A few years ago I attended a church known for being a radical, “on fire for God ” church. Everyone there is covered in tattoos and piercings, even the pastor. They really made me feel confident in my faith. I would see people from my church on the street preaching, and it really inspired me. I think it got misconstrued in the way it was portrayed on ANTM. When someone hears “preacher” they think of Joyce Meyer. They think of someone standing on a pulpit before hundreds of people and that’s definitely not what I do. I am the person who will walk up to you randomly on the street and talk to you one-on-one. Q:你在面试时说是街头传教士?那是啥 A:^@$^%@%#^# (跳过....在讲她关於宗教上的事.说了两大段...真的是信仰很坚定的女孩) Fashion is kind of a godless industry. How do you reconcile staying true to yourself and trying to succeed in the modeling world? Going into the competition I asked myself, “Why are you doing this?” because so many girls come into this without a purpose. They want to be famous, they want to be known, they want to be cool. I had to have a purpose. I wanted to express God while pursuing something I love. But this experience kind of changed my outlook on the industry—modeling is definitely not my number one priority anymore. There are a lot more important things that I need to do in my life. Q:时尚是无神的(跟信仰无关的)事业.你怎麽会想当MODEL呢? A:当初比赛时我就问自己:为啥我要参加? 这里面有许多人只是要出名, 变的漂亮, 而不知道真正的人生目标. 而我有人生目标, 那就是传达神的旨意, 而不只是单纯追求我所爱的事. 最後我知道MODEL并不是我第一要作的, 有太多事情等着我去完成. What’s your number one goal now? There’s so many things that I want to do. I want to be happy and to get into college. My number one goal right now is to be fully recovered from my eating disorder. I have bulimia and I struggle with anorexia. It’s something I’m being helped with. It’s not something I made up as an excuse for gaining so much weight! Going into the competition, it just kind of slammed down on me because I’d watch all of these girls who are naturally thin. I’m not naturally thin, I’m curvy. I watched them eat normally and pig out sometimes, and I thought I could do that too. But my metabolism was so messed up from years of abuse that my body stored all that food I was eating. So I gained weight. Q:那你目前首要目标是? A:我想要开心过活, 上大学.我现在最想控制我的饮食失调 我有贫食与食慾过旺症 (不吃没差,想吃可以吃很多 我也是XDD) 以及我挣扎在厌食症中....... 但这不是为我变胖找理由, 当时被关在瘦竹竿监狱中 我并不是瘦子底的, 当我像他们想吃就吃时, 我打乱了我的新陈代谢 以致於我变胖了.... Do you think your weight was the reason you were eliminated? I really do think so. Yes. Like, 100% yes. I’m sure there are a lot of other factors, but look at who they had to choose between. I know I’m a beautiful girl, but I had gained all this weight so I was extra curvy, and Aminat is like 6’1 and 115 lbs. Even though she might have given the same boring face every week, the question is “who looks more like a model?” It stinks, it really does, but it’s fine. Life goes on. Q:你觉得你是因为变胖而被淘汰吗? A:我想是的, 100%是的. 虽然一定有别的原因但我知道这是主因 而当我跟阿美站BT时, 我就知道我会被淘汰 因为阿美高挑又瘦, 即使她的照片很鸟, 评审还是会因为我变胖不像个MODEL而淘汰我, 但没关系, 让她去吧!! Do you have a favorite song? "Staralfur" by Sigur Ros. I feel so stupid whenever anyone asks me this because I don’t know how to pronounce it in Icelandic! Q:你喜欢什麽歌? A:"Staralfur" by Sigur Ros. 但每次别人问我, 我都觉得我很蠢, 因为那是冰岛语我念不好. Rock on! Seriously, that’s like my favorite band. What else? What can we expect from you in the future ? I want to be a fashion designer. Like...fashion designer-slash-stylist. FIT is my dream school ever since I was like five years old. That would be amazing. It’s not just like, “Oh, I hope to do that.” I know I can do that. Q:没差啦!!说真的, 那个团我也爱^.< . 你的未来规划还有别的吗? A:我想要成为时尚设计师.像是时尚整体造型设计师(?) FIT是我5岁就超想上的学校. 我知道我可以的!! But didn’t you do really poorly with the styling aspect of the Creative Director challenge? The clothing for that challenge was horrible! I didn’t have a lot to work with. I definitely got in trouble for adding too much of my own personality to the styling, but all they meant by that was I added a headband! I was like “Calm down! Everybody wears headbands! It’s not a big deal!” Q:但你不觉得你在小挑战作的很烂吗? A:拜托!!是那时候的衣服都很丑...我没办法发挥我的实力 我很难发挥我的个性, 但他们却认为绑了头带就是表现我的个性!! >"< 拜托!!一堆人绑头带好吗.... Would you ever try out for Project Runway? I would totally do that! My best friend tried out for Project Runway and she made it to the round right before the on-air contestants. I modeled her designs for her audition so I got a great look behind the scenes. It’s something I would love to do, so look out for me! Q:你有想参加决战时装伸展台吗?? A:噗, 我真的有!! 我朋友还有进入初选 我当时穿她设计的衣服当她的MODEL, 走在那伸展台真的很酷, 我超爱. 所以说 等着瞧 你会在T台(大陆用语,伸展台)看到我的!!! We will! We will!
