Can you give us an update? 记者：大家都很好奇你跟Marvin的後续发展，你能帮我们更新一下吗？ Renee Bhagwandeen: We’re good. He’s one of my best friends. I talk to him all the time. The only unfortunate thing is that he lives in L.A. and I’m currently in New York, so we don’t want to put any titles on anything until we actually get to be in the same place at the same time. Then we can say that we’re together. It turned out better than a lot of my older relationships, so I’m pretty happy about that and I met such an amazing person from that. It’s because I want to follow my career goals, but it’s still tentative, it’s like an 85 percent chance that I will. I’m just trying to figure out where I’ll do the best for my career and he’s trying to do the same. So maybe if I do move to L.A., he’ll be somewhere else. We’re trying to not hinder each other because he has different plans and I have different plans. If they match up, maybe it was meant to be. You never know! Renee：事实上，我真的有打算在明年一月搬去洛杉矶，但不是为了Marvin，是为了我的职 业目标。不过我还在犹豫就是了，大概八成五的机会我会搬过去吧，我只是在思考怎麽样 会对我的职业生涯最好，当然他也在做一样的事情，所以搞不好我搬去洛杉矶，然後他也 搬到其他地方去了也说不定。我们试着不要妨碍彼此的发展，因为我们各自有不一样的计 画，如果哪天计画搭上线了，那也就是上天注定的啦，你永远预料不到的。 Wetpaint Entertainment: What are your long-term career goals? Are you wanting to just model or perhaps break into acting or hosting? 记者：你的长期生涯目标是甚麽？你打算只在模特儿圈发展呢？还是想要往演戏或主持界 迈进呢？ Renee Bhagwandeen: Well, it’s funny that you say that. I definitely do want to get into acting really badly. I’ve been taking a couple acting classes. That would be something that would be so cool for me to get into. One of my goals, as far as acting, is to star in a Tyler Perry film. That would be, oh my gosh, damn, this girl can actually do this s—t. I put four things and he put four things. For me, it was: star in a Tyler Perry movie, be No. 1 on models.com, have a national beauty campaign for skincare, and to be a host. Most of those things came true — which is freaking crazy! Just have a couple more things on that list! I’m a big dreamer, but why not? Renee：至於主持，我跟Marvin某一天真的坐下来各自写下我们将来想要的目标，我们各写 了四项，我的那四项是：主演Tyler Perry导的片子、成为models.com排行榜上第一名的名 模、赢得皮肤保养的国际美容大赛，还有成为主持人。如果这些目标能实现几项，天啊， 真的太疯狂了！当然单子上还有些别的目标啦，我是个大梦想家，那又如何呢？ Wetpaint Entertainment: In what ways do you think you changed over the course of the show? We really saw you come out of your shell. 记者：随着节目进展，是甚麽让你逐渐改变的呢？我们都看到你走出了自己的保护壳。 Renee Bhagwandeen: At the beginning of the show, to be honest, I came on thinking I was going to use my pageant skills and be very neutral. I’m going to say the right things and do the right things and hopefully that’s going to get me far. I can’t be that perfect little Barbie, you know what I’m saying? Renee：节目刚开始，说实在地，我只觉得我要善用我的选美技巧并保持中立，我想要试着 只说对的话、做对的事，并希望这样我就能走到很前面的名次。但我真的做不来那种完美 芭比形象，你懂我的意思吗？ Renee Bhagwandeen: A couple episodes into the show, I was like, “f—k this.” I decided to be myself and not put together any personality in my head and be something that I’m not, and I think that worked for me. Being myself is a lot easier than trying to be a beauty queen. I think that’s where you see me as a person learn that being yourself is the best thing you can ever do. They either love me or they hate me, you’re rarely an in-between with me. And I’m OK with that because I don’t like everyone. Renee：我也知道很多人对我有很多意见，他们要嘛喜欢我的个性，不然就彻底地讨厌我， 很少人对我会是普普的感觉。不过我觉得无所谓，反正我也不会喜欢每一个人。 Wetpaint Entertainment: On Twitter you called Tyra Banks your “fairy godmother” — what did you mean? 记者：在推特上面你说泰嬷是你的「神仙教母」，这是甚麽意思？ Renee Bhagwandeen: She gave me the chance of a lifetime — just like Cinderella’s fairy godmother — she gave me elephants, she gave me Marvin... how could she not be my fairy godmother? Renee：她给了我一生千载难逢的际遇，就像是灰姑娘的神仙教母一样，她让我坐上了大 象、她给了我Marvin，我怎能不叫她神仙教母呢？ --
