Nintendo add a personal touch for Wii launch http://gaming.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=6897 Talking to ABC news, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has said that he will be handing out Wii to the first customers at a New York department store on November 19th. Although the store is yet to be announced, it's rumoured to be Nintendo World Store in Rockafeller Center. Reggie told ABC news that, "Those consumers, the core gamer, are very important to us, and you know what? I'll be at a store in the New York area, where they will camp out and I will be handing out some Wiis that very first minute that we're available for purchase." Fils-Aime shot to fame in May 2004, with the opening line of Nintendo's E^(3) press conference: "My name is Reggie. I'm about kickin' ass, I'm about takin' names, and we're about makin' games." His theatrical antics gained a cult following on the web soon after, when following the conference, many images of him spread across the web.
