NEW YORK, April 12 – Kenyon Martin of the Denver Nuggets has been fined
$7,500 for verbally abusing a game official and failing to leave the court in
a timely manner following his ejection, it was announced today by Stu
Jackson, NBA Senior Vice President, Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred with 10:12 remaining in the third quarter of the
Nuggets 122-106 win last night over the visiting Golden State Warriors.
