The Manc four-piece will play London’s Roundhouse on October 26 as part of the BBC Electric Proms gigs. The band were recently forced to scrap their UK comeback gig after guitarist NOEL GALLAGHER was attacked by a crazed fan onstage in Canada and broke three ribs. But back in the capital they will be joined on stage by the 50-piece Crouch End Festival Chorus for a two-hour long set. Noel said: “It’s quite a long show for us, about two hours, we normally do an hour and 40 minutes.” Noel also joked that his brother LIAM has final say on which songs the band will play: “We’ll stick most of the hits in, but not D’You Know What I Mean? because Liam doesn’t like it. “We won’t play She’s Electric because Liam doesn’t like it. “We won’t play ‘Roll With It’ because Liam doesn’t like it.” And he also hinted at a collaboration again with legendary American crooner BURT BACHARACH, also on the bill for the Electric Proms series.
