The 6-foot-10, 230 pound forward is averaging 11.3 ppg and 5.8 rpg in 20 mpg for Malaga this season. He's had a number of dominating games in Euroleague play, including a 17-point, 11-rebound effort versus Euroleague powerhouse CSKA Moscow and an impressive 19-point, seven-rebound effort against the German Opel Skyliners. Had a career high 26 points and 11 rebounds versus Jovenut in early April. Just about everyone in the league has been over to Europe to watch him play, including Larry Bird and Jerry West. Positives: He's an athletic, bouncy big man with great hands. Vazquez has excellent moves around the basket, a knack for crashing the offensive boards and a nice 15-foot jump shot. He is an excellent rebounder and a good shot blocker. His aggressivness and quickness leads to a lot of dunks. Negatives: Strength and experience are both issues. He's going to have to bulk up to play the 4 in the pros. He's deceptively strong, but still needs to get stronger.
