Among the players shooting jumpers, lifting weights, riding stationary bikes and running suicides, was Grant Hill. He was matched up against DeShawn Stevenson in a good, old fashioned, pick-up three-on-three game you would think was Game Seven of the NBA Finals. Anyway, Grant was, well…Grant. He was slashing to the basket, shooting his patented mid-range jumper, and defending with determination. But better than that was the fact that ‘The Feeling’ was almost gone from me. You know ‘The Feeling’, right? Grant Hill spins off his defender, races to the rim, is knocked to the ground by the help defender who outweighs him by 40 pounds, and the air goes out of the arena. You can hear a headband drop. Will he get up? Did he twist/sprain/fracture his five-time, surgically-repaired left ankle? Is he OK? Then there’s a collective sigh of relief as he pops to his feet. Anyway, in the three-on-three game Grant hit the floor a dozen times and just once did I hold my breath and knock on the wooden bleachers. He looked great in this first off-season in more than five years which has not included swimming pools and/or lengthy rehab sessions which included being hooked up to a device which sends electrical stimulation through his leg. He was just playing basketball, like, well…Grant Hill. 上礼拜当我闲逛魔术队练习球场时，我看到一个伟大的景象。在那边的球员中有个做跳投 、做举重、骑直立脚踏车(你知道的常在体育馆看到...我不知道那中文叫啥，有版友告知 的话先说声感谢。)，做来返冲刺练习跑步的，就是Grant Hill。他和Steveson有场相当 好的三对三比赛，你会感觉好像在看NBA的Final第七场大战，不管怎样，Grant实在是... 太好了，他飞快的切入篮下，投着他专利的中距离，果断的防守。但是最好的事实还是 那几乎从我身上消失的"感觉"。你知道"感觉"这东西吧 ?Grant多了许多防守，冲到篮下 的快速补防，承受比他重40磅的冲击而倒地，从当时的气氛，你简直可以听到头带掉落 的声音，他能够爬起来吗 ?他是不是有扭到伤到他那五次手术的左脚踝 ?他还好吧 ?当下 就有一连串关於他脚部的想法出现。然而，在那场三对三的比赛中，当我屏息期待之下， Grant投进了一打的球。他是过去五年来第一次在休季的时候看起来这麽棒，不用做泳池 练习或腿部复健程序像挂上仪器送出电流来刺激他的腿，他就是在打球，打得...就像是 Grant Hill一样的好。 另外我记得在六月还是七月的时候，有看过新闻说到Grant Hill在做打网球的练习，我想 他可以打网球的话，那表示他的脚踝没问题了，除非他的对手是像我这一类LOL，BTW，我 也很高兴看到Steveson能跟Hill一起练习，我很期待这个年轻球员 :-) --
