Bryant scores 40 in Lakers' win over Suns Suns announce ticket price increase "I like it," the Los Angeles Lakers' superstar said, when asked of his impression of the Phoenix area. "It's peaceful. It's relaxing. "Everywhere I've gone. . .people have been really great." Bryant, speaking before the Sunday night's Suns-Lakers game, said he'll sit down and thinks the subject over after this season ends. "I'll give all teams consideration. . .I won't cross out any option." In making his choice — which he has said includes re-signing with the Lakers — he said, "It's not just a basketball decision. It's a decision that affects your family. "You have to feel comfortable." Bryant said he's familiar with Suns coach Mike D'Antoni from his years growing up in Italy, where Bryant's father and D'Antoni both played pro basketball. But the story that's been told that he chose his uniform number in honor of D'Antoni, who was a legendary player in Italy, is false, he said. "That's just a rumor going around," he said. As for D'Antoni, he said, "I've heard of him. I'm familiar with his name." The Suns currently are set to have about $8 million in salary-cap space to go after free agents this summer. They'd likely need dump more salary to go after somebody of Bryant's stature. There's also the matter of Bryant's sexual assault case in Colorado, which is yet to be resolved. --
