: Monday, Oct. 4 : We're camping. It's about 8:30 and we just pulled into our hotel in : Flagstaff. It's been a long day. It all started with our regular pre-camp : physicals. Everything checked out for me. I'm still in one piece : thankfully. I'm young enough to where I don't have to worry about any : health problems yet. In five years I'll probably barely be able to see the : eye chart when I cover one eye, but I'm good for now. 训练营开始了。大约8:30我们进住位於Flagstaff的饭店。今天过的很漫长，我们开 始一些例行的营前检测，我作了全身的检查，感谢老天，我还是一尾活龙，还好我够 年轻，还不用担心我的健康会出问题。(Nash : 啥?) 我现在的视力还不错， 但在过个几年可能会有点毛病。 : After that, it was another Media Day for me. This makes number three : since I came into the league. It's always a fun day, but a hectic one, too. : You answer a lot of the same questions from reporters and take a lot of the : same photos over and over, but that's cool. We need to do this. It helps : our sport and it helps our popularity. We get a chance to meet some of the : reporters that will be covering us and when we develop a good relationship : with them, they in turn will help portray a good image of us to our fans, : which is very important. Plus, as our personnel changes from year to year, : so do the questions, so that keeps things fresh. 在结束了那些检测後，是我的另一个 Media Day。这是我加入联盟以来的第三次了。 那很好玩但也很累人，你必须回答记者们一大堆重复的问题而且不断的拍照，但是一切 还ok啦。我们得配合，因为那对我们球队和知名度有帮助.我们和一些会罩我们的记者 们碰面，当我们和记者们打好关系後，他们也会替我们营造良好的形象给球迷，这是 很重要的。此外，因为球队的阵容每年都有变动，所以我们必须回答那些问题来维持 最新的消息。 : I mentioned all the photos you take on Media Day, but they aren't all the : standard "pose with a basketball" type shots. For one, they took a photo of : me in a Santa Claus suit. They said it was for a Suns.com greeting card. I : guess people will be able to log on and e-mail a little holiday cheer with : me in the suit. All the guys had photos taken for all sorts of different : occasions like Halloween and Valentine's Day. I'm fine with things like : that. I'll embarrass myself for a laugh. That's cool with me. Life's too : short. 我和你们提过我在 Media Day 拍的那些照片，那可不是只有一般拿着篮球的球员照喔 其中一张，我还穿着圣诞老人的服装呢，他们告诉我那是要拿来作 Suns.com的贺卡的 我想你们一定可以藉着e-mail这张搞笑照片来开心一下。大夥儿都照了许多不同场和、 造型的照片，像是:万圣节和情人节(按:这是要穿啥?)，我很喜欢这样，我窘的让 自己发笑，那让我感觉很好，人生苦短嘛。 : Media Day is also interesting to me for another reason. After my playing : days are behind me, I want to get into broadcasting. I might have to get : some plastic surgery on my face, because I'm too darn ugly to get out in : front of the camera, but I'll worry about that a little later down the road. : Hopefully you got a chance to check me out on the online broadcast from the : practice court. I thought my day was busy. He's got an army of overseas reporters : following him around since he's trying to become the first Japanese player : to make it in the NBA. It was a little lopsided in terms of the amount of : media trailing after him, but that's okay.
