标题[问题] 请问bias element结构

想问这专利书上的bias element 是什麽结构
内文撷取如下:
a lock for locking said decorative element in said position, said lock
comprising at least one cavity oriented perpendicularly to said pin, a
bias element housed within said cavity that exerts force on a stopping
element that moves into a lock position when said decorative element is
in said position.
因为看了好多次,不知道提到的bias element 到底是什麽东西
所以想请问版上各位前辈 是否可以解答。
