So, you need to make decision by yourself. My suggestion, don't lie to anybody. That would make your world become narrower. Although you can get your degree, probably, quicker, you will have to always worry this for the rest of your life. Nobody will find out? I don't think so. Once a famous group publishes too many fake results, the chances being found out would increase dramatically. Once someone realised your group was lying, then they would suspect everybody in/from your group. You can try to convince your supervisor you are right, by showing all your proofs. However, don't spend ages to do this. If to change his mind takes few years, I would suggest to go away and to restart your PhD. This sounds crazy but it is not stupid. Suppose you have received good training in your first three years, you probably would be able to get into some professional work immiediately. It can still takes you another four years to get your PhD. Nevertheless, if your current supervisor always thinks he is right and you don't want to lie, is it possible to get your PhD finished in another four years? I might be wrong. However, think about it.
