Sanchez, as he had assured the team before his selection at No. 4 overall, was not difficult to sign. The three-day draft ended yesterday, and the signing deadline is Aug. 17. He will report to the team's extended spring training program in Bradenton, Fla., immediately, then report to Class A West Virginia in 10 days.
