Well I can't see anyone else smiling in here. : " Are you sure you want to live like common people, : you want to see whatever common people see, : you want to sleep with common people, : you want to sleep with common people like me. : But she didn't understand, she just smiled and held my hand. : 於是我带她到超市去了, : 我也不知道为什麽要带她到超市耶 : 反正就来了啊 哦这句你翻得满简洁的 我是会罗唆一点翻成 「反正总要起个头，那就从这里开始吧」 : 我说:「当个普通人也许会没有钱喔」 嗯这句我不懂你为什麽这样翻哩？ 不是应该是 「我说；“现在假装你是没有钱的人，”」 : 她只是笑笑的说: 「 哈哈你真爱说笑耶」 : 我想没有人听到这样会笑的出来吧? 我会翻成 「是哦？我可没看到这里有任何人在笑耶...」 : 你确定要当个普通人吗? : 你确定你想经历普通人的生活吗? : 你想跟普通人睡啊? : 像我这样的? : 她还是不懂我说什麽,只是笑笑的握着我的手 : Rent a flat above a shop, cut your hair and get a job. : Smoke some fags and play some pool, : pretend you never went to school. : But still you'll never get it right : 'cos when you're laid in bed at night watching roaches climb the wall, : if you called your dad he could stop it all. : 之後她租了间小公寓 : 剪去长发 找了份工作 : 闲来无事刁根菸 打场撞球 : 也许你也不再上学去 : 但永远不得其门而入的 : 因为当你半夜躺在床上 : 望着墙上爬来爬去的蟑螂 嗯这边我和你的诠释不太一样 我觉得这一大段都是普通人男主角的肺腑教训经验之谈 (也就是他一点一滴告诉女主角(以及我们)什麽叫做成为 Common People) 倒不是实际发生在富家女主角本身的遭遇 整个语气有点像是 「你知道什麽叫做真正的“普通人吗”？ 普通人就是在店舖上租个公寓，理好头发，找份工作 抽些菸草，玩些撞球 假装你从没上学过 但你还是没办法说服自己一切很好 因为当入夜你躺在床上，你会看着爬在墙上的蟑螂 如果你受不了向你爹求救，他可以阻止这一切吧...」 : 如果打通电话给你的爸爸 : 你就能逃离这一切啊 : You'll never live like common people, : you'll never do whatever common people do, : you'll never fail like common people, : you'll never watch your life slide out of view, : and dance and drink and screw, because there's nothing else to do. : 你永远无法活的像个平凡人 : 你也永远无法做平凡人所做 : 因为你一点都不了解, : 你像普通人一样的失落吗? 这句我会翻成 「你从不会像普通人那样失败」 这是我很喜欢的一句心声和控诉 fail like common people...很残忍却也很真实 : 看着日子一天一天在眼前消逝 : 只能跳舞喝酒做爱 : 因为他们除此无事可做啊 : Sing along with the common people, : sing along and it might just get you through. : Laugh along with the common people, : laugh along even though they're laughing at you : and the stupid things that you do, : because you think that poor is cool. : 跟普通人一起唱吧! : 也许会让你看清一点 : 跟平凡人一起笑吧 : 即使他们在笑你所做的蠢事 : 因为你觉得贫穷很酷啊 : 你觉得贫穷能增加你的艺术气息 : Like a dog lying in a corner they will bite you and never warn you. : Look out they'll tear your insides out. : 'Cos everybody hates a tourist, : especially one who thinks it's all such a laugh : and the chip stains and grease will come out in the bath. : 他们就像街边的狗一样 : 咬你之前不会先警告你的 : 只是咬完之後还会偷偷的在心底为你掬一把同情泪哩 ㄟ这边 “tear”应该是动词“撕裂”而非名词“眼泪”吧？ 所以是否应该翻成 「小心他们会撕碎你里里外外」 : 因为人人都讨厌看热闹的 嘿我喜欢你翻的这句;) 直捣核心又不失原意 那种平时不参与 一时兴起好奇才来关心搅局的人 是满令人受不了的 : You will never understand how it feels to live your life : with no meaning or control and with nowhere left to go. : You are amazed that they exist and they burn so bright : whilst you can only wonder why. : 你从未了解生活没有任何意义 : 或着无法掌控而且无处可逃是怎样的感觉 : 你觉得奇怪啊? 我会翻成「惊讶」或「吃惊」 : 他们真实的活着 : 燃烧的这样灿烂 : 当你觉得惊奇时 : 当你好奇时 我会翻成 「当他们真实存在而且燃烧的这样灿烂 你却只能在一旁空想为什麽...」 : 他们真实的活着呢! 嗯其实在看了从英国买回来的英国八零年代 cult classics 的三部曲之後 "Made in Britain" "Meantime" "Prick Up Your Ears" (中文好像翻作《竖起你的耳朵》) 会对 Common Poeple 里头描绘的普通人尤其是年轻人图像有更具体的感触 那种漫无目的惶惶度日浪费生命 想有意义想找目标想找发泄却发现遍寻不着骗不了自己 被庸碌消极的家庭，冷漠制式的社会包围困住 生命只剩下吃喝拉撒，找工作，没工作，不想工作 还有一群打屁哈草玩撞球的狐群狗党... 可当我看到 Made In Britain 那个目空一切前途无亮的聪慧纳粹 skinhead 青年 用暴力来宣泄，对着社工控诉他不想玩社会订好的那一套的时候 当 Meantime 里那对没出息敌对的兄弟最後互相了解关怀彼此的困境， 头脑迟钝弟弟剃光头来抗议轻视他的世界的时候 还有当 Prick Up Your Ears 里同性恋人游戏人间，用死亡来奢望保存爱情的时候 我又不得不他妈的为这些再真实再普通不过的人鼓掌感动 而这又让我想起楚浮的《四百击》 那种存在於年轻血液里同样的绝对叛逆孤独，想自由的渴望，对未来的渺茫... 突然觉得我们有 Sex Pistol 真好 有这些电影真好 可以不时刺一下提醒我们这些安逸的人类 血液里到底还剩下些什麽 还想呐喊些什麽...
