June 24, 2005) -- The Toronto Raptors announced Friday they have extended a
qualifying offer to forwards Matt Bonner and Pape Sow making them restricted
free agents. This provides the Raptors with the right to match any offer for
Bonner and Sow’s services.

minutes in 82 games with Toronto last season. He was acquired from the
Chicago Bulls during the 2003 NBA Draft in exchange for a second-round pick.

ratification of the new collective bargaining agreement teams will be allowed
to sign free agents beginning July 22.
